Meaningful Mornings (MM) is a monthly gathering of citizens of Utrecht and beyond to learn about and learn to apply in action topics and approaches which can create meaningful “social impact” in our communities and professional environments. MM began in August 2018 as a result of an individual initiative and was created in collaboration with the organization Ethical Business Building the Future (EBBF) and the Utrecht Social Impact Factory, which was the venue for all gatherings. It is further supported with partners Soul.com, Humanity in Action Nederland, and Global Shapers Amsterdam Hub.
In March 2020, the conversations were moved immediately online. The online format has changed from speaker-focused to participant and conversation-dominant (1 hour sessions). The goal of this space is to create a space that is respectful, kind, mindful, loving, and curious. The facilitators actively engage with the community of interest, connect with their projects, and continue to understand these themes in society.

Our learning questions:
The space serves as a kind of incubator for ideas and exploration. It is a conversation that explores the principles that can be applied to our personal and professional lives. What else do we hope to make of it, what do we wish participants to get from it?
What topics are most relevant to the space? What questions can be posed to encourage and elicit meaningful and uplifting conversation?
How to create a safe space where all participants feel welcome to learn and contribute?
How to create learning questions to focus and reflect on what we are learning about?
How to move the conversation into collective action?
